Half a kilo of chicken cutlets
For the chicken sauce;
5 tablespoons of yogurt
1 small long pepper
1 teaspoon grams of masala
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of ground red pepper
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
The juice of half a lemon
Salt
1.5 cups basmati rice
1 large onion
Half a bunch of fresh mint
Half a bunch of fresh coriander or parsley
Half a glass of oil
50 g butter
A piece of cheesecloth for the aroma-giving package;
Leave of Daphne
Clove
Grain coriander
Black pepper
Cumin
cinnamon sticks
Indian Style Chicken Biryani Recipe Preparation
It is a troublesome but delicious Indian dish. . Its density consists of spices. Spices are a bit difficult to find (especially garm table) but if you complete it, it's a delicious meal 😍
For the chicken marinade, we add 1 teaspoon of turmeric, masala, ground red pepper, salt, ginger and mix.
We mix it well by adding 2 crushed garlic cloves, finely chopped green pepper, half lemon juice, 5 tablespoons of yogurt
We take the chickens into it and mix until it smears all over.
We keep these chickens in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Soak the rice in water for half-hour.
Meanwhile, chop the greens.
We put laurel, cloves, coriander, cinnamon sticks, black pepper and cumin in a cheesecloth and close the mouth of the cheesecloth.
We put water in a pot and let it boil.
We chop one onion finely or pass it through a potato grater. We take the water with a paper towel.
A quarter glass of oil is taken in a pan. When it gets hot, we roast the onions. (6-7 minutes)
When it turns golden yellow, we strain the oil in a bowl and remove the onions on a towel.
We put the mixture that we prepared the chickens into the pan. We cook it for 10 minutes and reduce the heat.
Meanwhile, we filter the rice.
We throw the bundle of spices we prepared in cheesecloth into the boiling water.
We add 1 tablespoon of salt. (Not too much, just enough)
After adding 1 tablespoon of onion oil, we separate 1 glass of boiling water.
We boil the rice for 4 minutes by throwing it in boiling water.
Meanwhile, we add half of the chopped greens and some crispy onion to the chicken pan.
We add a mug of hot water to the chickens.
We filter the rice. We put the cheesecloth inside the chickens to give aroma. (Don't forget to take it off when serving)
We put the strained rice on the chickens without mixing them (Rice must not be fully cooked, they are cooked with the chicken)
We pour the remaining crispy onions and greens over the rice. We drizzle the remaining oil from onions.
We cook it on the lowest heat for 15 minutes.
We turn off the stove by checking whether it absorbs the water or not.
We lay towel paper on it and let it brew for 15 minutes. Bon Appetit : )
Indian chicken biryani making tricks
- If you cannot obtain recipe-specific spices from a plant, you can buy them from reliable websites.
- You should be careful not to over-boil the rice and make it too soft. The time specified in the recipe (4 minutes) is sufficient.
